ECEE 2 (EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTIVE TABLETS) – 2`S

ECEE 2 is an Oral Emergency Contraceptive available in Kenyan Pharmacies. It contains Levonorgestrel 0.75mg.
For effectiveness it should be taken as follow;
1 tablets as soon as possible,
2nd tablets within 12hrs of taking the first,
Used within 72hrs of unprotected sexual intercourse. Alternatively, you can take the two tablets at once, but recent research suggests that considering the half life of Levonorgestrel is about 23hrs, the chances of it failing increase by 38%.
